Australia is Carbon Neutral Certified

Australia is Carbon Neutral Certified

In 2019, Marshall Day Acoustics made the commitment to becoming Carbon Neutral. We are extremely proud to have now accomplished our goal in both Australia and New Zealand. In August 2021, Marshall Day Acoustics Pty Ltd received NoCO2 certification from The Carbon Reduction Institute in Australia. This follows New Zealand becoming certified ‘Zero Carbon Business Operations’ with ekos this time last year.

As a company, we feel there is great importance in being sustainability-minded and we are dedicated to the ongoing improvement of our carbon footprint. This initiative has received unwavering support and passion from staff to the Board, and we have seen a significant increase in those choosing to make the office commute by bike.

MDA is committed to sustainable design practices and views each and every project we work on as an opportunity to positively impact and respect the climate and environment. Many of our projects include Green Star/NABERS ratings - from performing arts spaces with integration of environmentally sustainable design (ESD) elements, acoustic treatment for timber construction buildings, to wind farms and everything in between.

We are looking forward to a more sustainable future.
